I am not sure I understand why the term "dooche bag" is used. I've never understood this..it's a feminine sanitary item. Do the people who use this term believe that female sanitation is an insult? Or is it the fact it is related to the vagina, similar to how "cunt" is now a negative term or insult. Or is the person just opposed to health or cleanliness altogether? Or...taking it a step further and literally, women are being told not to douche anymore as it removes necessary..stuff.. there so it is proving to unhealthy. Does this term as an insult relate to that?
I look at the term within the context of the postcard, which has a skateboarding theme. I believe 'almost' is actually a skateboarding brand, while obviously the background picture is of skaters.
I think the phrase "don't be a douche bag" could simple be "don't take things so seriously." I think Michelle may value just having fun in life, pursuing things that are passionate to you, and not being so serious.
I think in a broader world, "douche bag" is one of the weirdest insults I have ever heard, so I agree with Marissa but can't offer any explanation, either.
